This is an easy paced Darjeeling escape. It focuses on sunrise views of Kanchenjunga from Tiger Hill, classic monasteries, tea garden views, the Darjeeling ropeway, and a scenic excursion to Mirik Lake through forests and small hamlets.
Arrival at Darjeeling
Your journey begins with a comfortable pickup from NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. You'll enjoy a scenic drive up to the hills, taking in beautiful hill and valley views along the way. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the evening is yours to relax, stroll around the local market, or simply rest and prepare for the adventures ahead.
Classic Darjeeling Sightseeing
Start your day very early with a visit to Tiger Hill to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. On your way back, you'll stop at the serene Ghoom Monastery and the famous Batasia Loop. After breakfast, explore the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park. Please note that the zoo is closed on Thursday. Continue to Tenzing Rock and the Tibetan Refugee Centre, keeping in mind that the centre is closed on Sunday. The day also includes an outer view of the tea gardens, a Darjeeling ropeway ride if time permits, and visits to the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda.
Mirik Excursion
After breakfast, you'll depart for Mirik, a beautiful destination reached through forested roads. Your drive takes you via Pashupati Nagar near the Indo Nepal border, where you can explore the local market area. Please note that the market here may have entry restrictions and may remain closed at times. At Mirik, you'll visit the man-made Sumendu Lake, surrounded by forested hills and tea gardens. You'll have free time near the lake for boating or horse riding on a direct payment basis. In the evening, you'll return to Darjeeling for your overnight stay.
Departure from Darjeeling
After a final breakfast at your hotel, you'll be transferred back to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. As you leave, you'll carry with you beautiful memories of the Himalayas and the charming town of Darjeeling.

What's Included
Your journey includes a private vehicle reserved only for you throughout the trip, allowing you to travel at your own pace. All transportation requirements from arrival to departure are fully arranged. Parking fees at every sightseeing point are included so you don't have to worry about local charges. GST is already covered inside the package. All transport taxes are taken care of as well, ensuring smooth, uninterrupted travel.
What's Not Included
Travel insurance is not included in the package and can be arranged separately if required. Laundry services during the journey are not part of the package. Anything that is not listed under inclusions is considered excluded. Entry fees to sightseeing locations are to be paid directly by guests. Guide charges, if availed, are not included. Room heaters provided by hotels on request are chargeable according to hotel policy.

Cancellation Policy
- •Cancellations made more than fifteen days before arrival will incur a charge of twenty five percent of the total package cost.
- •Cancellations made between fifteen days and five days before arrival will incur a charge of thirty five percent of the total package cost.
- •Cancellations made between five days and one day before arrival will incur a charge of fifty percent of the total package cost.
Hotel & Transportation
- •Transportation is provided strictly on a point-to-point basis as per the confirmed itinerary.
- •If a listed hotel is sold out at the time of booking, a hotel of the same or similar category will be provided without compromising on the stay experience.
